Here are two key strategies you can use to get your girlfriend back. First, you want to make yourself more desirable to her. Kind of like those Axe commercials where the girl finds that guy irrisistable. Second, you have to let her know that you still want her in a non-needy way.

Have you asked yourself what the main reason of the breakup was? If you know, then this is where you need to start. To illustrate, Bob always did what Suzy wanted to do at the beginning of the relationship. But, as time went on, Bob only watched sports on TV and stopped doing what Suzy wanted to do.

If Bob wants to get Suzy back, he is going to have to bring back the activities that Suzy had enjoyed at the beginning of the relationship.

So, our clever Bob didn’t smother Suzy with phone calls or text messages.  He gave her her space.  But a few weeks later, he casually mentioned that he had two tickets to an event that Suzy loves and asked whether she would like to go “just as friends.”

Of course, Suzy hesitate to do something she liked with the man she was still in love with.  They went to the event and then he took her to a nice restaurant and had a nice romantic dinner.  Suzy couldn’t believe the “new” Bob and started hinting that she wouldn’t mind restarting the relationship.

Of course, at this point, Bob needs to be clear that both sports and the things that Suzy likes to do need to be part of the relationship. Bob also needs to realize that he can’t overdo the sports.

This mature conversation over a nice dinner about how they were going to incorporate what they both like to do in their relationship blew Suzy away. It was a mature and productive problem-solving conversation. Bob has his girlfriend back and he now has another chance.

What could have killed it for Bob was being needy, calling her all the time, getting angry or sending her dozens of text messages everyday.
